Remember what Bilbo used to say...

" It's a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to."

All About Nothing

"American stuntmen are smart - they think about safety. When they do a jump in a car, they calculate everything: the speed, the distance... But in Hong Kong, we don't know how to count. Everything we do is a guess. If you've got the guts, you do it. All of my stuntmen have gotten hurt." ~Jackie Chan

What does this quote have to do with my photos...nothing, nothing at all. I found the quote amusing.

Here are some building across from Aberdeen. Don't they look like they were built out of Legos?
Here is our water taxi we took to get to the JUMBO rest. Do I feel safe or what?  You can feel the exhaust fumes feel you lungs. But don’t worry it will only last a minute or two. Then we will get out and take a deep breath of polluted air to clean out all that exhaust. The ride itself was great, no problems and the people were real nice.
We finally arrived. We were a little under dressed; maybe I should have read up about the restaurant. This was a spontaneous idea, so we really didn’t know what we were getting into. We are a family of three- this is a family style restaurant, which mean lots of food. We didn’t go hungry, matter-of –fact we couldn’t eat everything. Lessoned learned I need to read up on more of the restaurant in Hong Kong. The place overall was magnificent.

I will leave you with this thought:

"Sometimes you're the windshield; sometimes you're the bug." - Mark Knopfler.
