The Venetian photos...
Remember what Bilbo used to say...
" It's a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to."

Our first vist to Macau : The Venetian Resort Hotel Macau
The Venetian
How to get there:
Ferries are the only practical source of transport between Hong Kong and Macau.
· Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal: Shun Tak Centre, 200 Connaught Road Central, Sheung Wan
· China Ferry Terminal: 33 Canton Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong
This was a business trip so I really didn't see much of Macau, but I did of the Venetian.

Things I like about Singapore
"The Singapore Open is the flagship event of the Asian Tour, it is a massive event and it is being played in a great place. I love coming here and it is good to be back."
~Lee Westwood
1. Singapore is clean. When I say clean I mean very clean.
2. Singapore has skinny pigeons and they are well mannered.
3.They had a great hostel to stay at called
4. Everyone is so nice. When I first arrived I didn't have any money and a gentlemen gave me money to get on a bus. He got on the bus with me and showed me where to get off to the nearest ATM. When I offered to pay him he said "No Worries".
5. "No worries"- ever time I asked for help or I asked a question- the reply was the answer I needed with the valediction of "No worries".
6. Many people wore smiles.
7. I felt safe being a woman traveler
8.I also stayed at a resort...
9. the Singapore Sling at the Raffles Long bar (by the way it is an expensive drink to have)http://www.singaporesling.com.sg/
10. The night life it offers :-}
I have much more to say about Singapore, but I will save that for another day.

Things I like about Japan
"The abstract beauty of Japanese art issues from the abstract beauty of their lives. They do not like clutter, they like to look at one flower at a time, one painting, one pot." - Anais Nin : http://koti.mbnet.fi/neptunia/world/japan1.htm

Big Wave Beach
Everyone was telling us that we have to got there. First lesson learned, not every Taxi driver knows how to get there. Second lesson learned, when asking local people to help tell the Taxi driver where to go, you might find they don't know either. I am hoping it was just a fluke.
Here is the Address: Big Wave Bay Road, Shek O
Here is a map you can print off : http://www.map.gov.hk/static/o/en/oelHd47URa.html
Facilities: food kiosk, BBQ area, changing room, shower facilities and toilet
Lonely Planet review for Big Wave Bay
"This fine and often deserted beach is located 2km to the north of Shek O. To get to Big Wave Bay follow the road north out of town, travel past the 18-hole Shek O Golf & Country Club (2809 4458; Shek O Rd), then turn east at the roundabout and keep going until the road ends. One of eight prehistoric rock carvings discovered in Hong Kong is located on the headland above Big Wave Bay." http://www.lonelyplanet.com/china/hong-kong/sights/beach/big-wave-bay
